One of the first Japanese manufacturers of condoms - Sagami traces its history back to 1934. The quality of their products has been tested by many years of history, and they have not become one of the favorite brands of the Japanese for nothing. Sagami specializes in innovative condoms. In 1934, Sagami developed and produced the first latex condoms in Japan. In 1949, the first colored condoms (yellow and blue) were introduced to the world by the company. In 1963, the first ever tight-fitting condoms were developed and produced. In 1976, Sagami developed and produced the world's first dot-texture condoms. In 2000, Sagami developed and produced condoms treated with an acidic solution and a water-based lubricant that does not affect the pH factor of the partners. In 2005, the company produced polyurethane condoms of the Sagami Original series with a thickness of 0.02 mm, and in 2013 - with a thickness of 0.01 mm. To date, the company presents its products in more than 80 countries.
In 1934, Sagami began the production and trade of Japan's first latex condoms based on natural rubber. Since then, not only in Japan, but also in 80 countries around the world, millions of consumers prefer Sagami latex condoms. Sagami Rubber Industries mainly manufactures and sells condoms made of polyurethane (Sagami Original) and latex (Sagami Xtreme).
Sagami Original are the thinnest condoms in the world, they are three times thinner than conventional latex. The strength of polyurethane condoms is 2 times higher in tensile tests and 3 times higher in volumetric expansion tests. Their thermal conductivity is 7 times higher than that of latex. Heat is transferred as if there were no condom. Polyurethane condoms are protein-free and as a result, there is no specific latex or rubber odor.
